A light-bulb shaped balloon hazardously searches for the nearest point from a nail's spike.
The hydraulic-pump controlled balloon and a proximity sensor constitute an homeostatic system constantly looking for balance to preserve its integrity.
Because of the resolution limits within the system a perfect balance is never reached, leaving the system in a state of constant instability.
